Building Democracy
We are building a democracy founded on justice and the public interest, in which government operates within the framework of the law and is accountable for its policies and decisions. We oppose the arbitrariness of power and any system that subordinates the interests of citizens to the privileges of individuals or groups.
We recognize a fair and free electoral process as a key element of a democratic order, in which the will of voters is expressed under equal conditions, free from pressure and manipulation.
We advocate for independent and accountable institutions that act in the public interest and protect citizens’ rights. We place people and their future at the center of progressive policies.
